What happens in a session?+
It’s a private, one-to-one conversation with your pastor on Zoom. Talk about what’s on your heart, ask questions, explore scripture, or make space for prayer together.
How do you find my matches?+
We compare the preferences you choose with each pastor’s profile: faith tradition, topics, approach, and availability. We explain the connections we find. You always decide who feels right, and you can update your preferences anytime.
Do I need to belong to a church?+
No. You can choose your faith background, select “Still exploring,” or stay open to different traditions. Come with questions, certainty, curiosity, or a little of each.
Can I trust the ratings?+
Only the member who booked a session can review it, after its scheduled end. One booking gets one review. Reviews show the member’s first name, rating, and any feedback they choose to publish.
Is this therapy or crisis support?+
Selah is a space for pastoral conversation and spiritual support. It is not a substitute for licensed mental health care or emergency services.
What if my plans change?+
Reschedule an upcoming session within your paid membership month. If you cancel before the session starts, your credit returns when it belongs to the current billing month. Cancel renewal anytime from Membership.
